In this day be thankful and praise God because our Lord Jesus Christ has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we belong to Christ. (Ephesians 1:3)
In this day be thankful because long ago, even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4)
In this day be thankful because His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:5)
In this day be thankful because this has given Him great pleasure. (Ephesians 1:5-my paraphrase)
It is my prayer for you sweet reader to know how truly blessed you are by the Lord Himself. I pray that in this day the Holy Spirit will reveal each of these passages to you in a way that leaves you overwhelmed by God’s love, faithfulness, and devotion to you. So that in return your gratitude will become an outpouring of thankful living, worshiping, and praise to Him.
Jesus thank You for Your richest blessing that came through Your death, burial, and resurrection. Thank You that Your blessings fall upon us one after another and that You chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault. Thank You for adopting us into Your family and for finding great pleasure through Your Son. In this day may You be honored, praised and thanked every second by Your children. Amen
