It was never ours to begin with

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11 NIV

Just in case we get too caught up in the "this is mine" mind set,we should recall this amazing passage and remember nothing was, is, or will ever be "ours."

It is the Lord's, and the glory belongs to Him and Him alone.

Precious Jesus I often need to be reminded that all things are Yours and they are to be used to bring You glory not me. Keep me from ever becoming so consumed with this world and me that I fail to remember it all belongs to You. Amen
