Be A Woman Who Encourages

When we accept a position as women, serving the Lord and other women, we have to be careful to not become consumed with self, laziness, jealousy or complacency.

When we take on that leadership role, it should be because we know it's what God has called us to do.

There are so many hurting and broken women in this world, in Churches and in homes right next to us. So when we have the opportunity as a leader, to take as many women as we can to an event where God's Word will be lavished upon them and worship will be real and raw and draw us nearer to the presence of God, why would we say no?

Why, as leaders would we look at this event as competition. Is the Body of Christ suppose to be competitive or work together as one?

In just a few short hours 1300 women will join together as one and worship Jesus Christ. Women who are hungry for more of Him. Women who are broken and lost looking for hope will come in hopes to find joy, help, love and life.

Why we would neglect any woman or say no to what God has called us to do because of selfishness, or competition?

Isn't there already enough comparison and competition between women today? Why would you encourage there to be more of that?

When a woman is seeking to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ or use their talents God has created within them, why would you turn them away?

Why would you belittle them and make them feel unworthy?

What is your mission?

Oh, sweet woman, who has assumed a position such as yours. May Jesus come in and intervene in your life in a way that opens your eyes so the heart of women.

Ladies, we are ALL called to love and minister to women of all ages. We are called to work together for His glory. We all have many gifts, and that is what makes the Body of Christ so special so unique. Let's join together and encourage women to fulfill those roles God has called them too.

Let's not hinder the Holy Spirit and what He is wanting to do in the life of others.

To you 1300 hundred women I am about to have the amazing opportunity of serving, I pray God's presence and love surrounds every ounce of you these next two days.

I pray you each encounter Him in a way that changes you forever.

May His love be lavished on you broken one. May His arms wrap around you lost one that leaves you being found forever.

May His mercy encompass you woman entangled in sin so much it sets you free.

Ladies you are loved richly by the King of Kings who is madly in love with you.

You are His living design.

Our Relationship

I always seem to be brought back to this particular passage, "Inside the Tent of Meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend." Exodus 33:11

The more I understand the significance and importance of my relationship with Christ, the more I realize how important it is for me to invest in Him, like He does in me.

This will always be a relationship where His investment far outweighs mine. He is Perfect. He is Sovereign. He is the Creator, Holy and All-Knowing. His invest and love will always be greater, and I am ever so thankful for that.

I desire with every ounce of me to invest in Him like He so desires. I want our relationship to be real, genuine and like no other relationship. I want to have those face to face meetings with Him like Moses did.

I can sit here and type a million "I need to's" but I don't want my relationship with Him to be "Jesus "I need" to spend more time with You. "I need" to invest in us more. "I need" to talk to You more. "I need"to…

I want to be all in, completely and fully devoted, giving of myself at all times to honor and please Him.

The Lord is showing me daily how important our relationship is, without Him nothing matters.

Without Him, there is no joy, no hope, no laughter, no life, no healing, no purpose.

Just yesterday, as I was driving home, the Lord revealed to me a greater sense of urgency to invest and commit more to our relationship.

Jesus wants more from me; more attention, more time, more listening, more communicating, more trust. He wants that face to face meeting with me, daily, with no distractions, just pure undivided attention.

Jesus could walk away from our relationship at any time. He has that power, authority and right. He doesn't have to be with me. But He chooses to.

"I no longer call you servants, because a master doesn't confide in his servants. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. You didn't chose me, I chose you." John 15:15-16

He chose me. I am chosen by the Most High. The King of Kings. The Lord of Lords. The Great I AM!

Through the Holy Spirit in me, I want to have such a thriving relationship with Christ that every time I leave His presence my face is glowing from being in His Holy Presence.

"When Moses came down the mountain carrying the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn't aware that his face glowed because he had spoken to the Lord face to face. And when Aaron and the people of Israel saw the radiance of Moses' face, they were afraid to come near him." Exodus 34:29-30

Powerful Words that Can Make a Huge Impact if Acted Upon

"Rejoice. Change your ways. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you." 2 Corinthians 13:11

Rejoice, change, encourage, harmony and peace, are powerful words that can impact our lives and the lives of others. Yet often times they seem to be the hardest ones to do, to express, to think upon.

But we make the choice whether or not to apply them and express them. For me I often allow how “I feel” to control my thoughts, words and actions. This I am not proud of, but willingly admit it is my biggest struggle.

My heart desires to walk in action and obedience, yet my flesh desires to walk in self. Miss “ME” is a very dominate woman, who I am still battling and though she often wins, I know Jesus in me is greater than she is and because of Him the victory has already been won.

But until He takes me home, I have to keep fighting. I have to keep focusing on His love and mercy. I have to keep filling my life with His Word. And I have to daily ask for His help to apply and live out His Word. I have to become conscious and aware of my thoughts, actions, words, and behavior and refuse to give into the ugly parts of them.

Jesus overcame all things. He endured all that I endure today. He resisted Satan. He walked a perfect and holy life. He knows the core of my heart, your heart, and He loves us anyway.

His power works best in my weaknesses. “My power works best in your weaknesses.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

He completes every part of me and I need to walk in that beautiful thought and promise.

Jesus I have tried to control too many aspects of this life You have given me. I no longer want that responsibility. It was Yours to begin with. I can’t fight without You. I can’t walk in obedience and faith without the Holy Spirit in me. Amen
