What is Your Reason?

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do."

What are our reasons for studying God's Word?

Is it to be full of knowledge so we can sound like we know a lot?

Is it to find Scripture to use for ammo against others?

Is it so we can mark it off of our to-do lists?

Is it because we have a passion and hunger for more of Christ?

Is it because we know without it we will be of no use?

What are our reasons?

God's reasons for us...

1. To teach us what is true.
2. To make us realize what is wrong in our lives
3. To straighten us out
4. To teach us do what is right
5. To prepare us
6. To equip us for every good thing God wants us to do.
