A New Year!

I have been spending a lot of time with The Lord and seeking His direction for this New Year. And we have landed on commitment.

To commit means to obligate or pledge oneself. It also means to be dedicated to, devoted to, loyal to and faithful to.

I can improve in the commitment department, thus the Lord impressing it upon my heart.

This New Year, I want to focus on my commitment to the Lord and our relationship. My family. Our Church. My Sunday School class. Joy, laughter, growing and going deeper in the Word. Memorizing more of His Word. I want to be more commited to obtaining wisdom and living it out for others to see. I want to commit to serving more, loving more, cooking more, my blog more and investing in others more.

Jesus is so committed to me and I want to be committed to Him, with all of me.

Commit-its what Jesus did when He died for me.

"Your hearts must be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by His decrees and obey His Commands." 1 Kings 8:61

What's your spiritual goal for 2014?

Join Us!

“I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways. I will delight in your principles and not forget your word.” Psalm 119:15-16

Today is a new day and New Year and what better way to start it off than by memorizing God’s Word.

So a couple of my besties and me are going to join Beth Moore’s 2013 Siesta Scripture Memory Team, and we would love for you to join us. If you are interested you will need to go to her blog http://blog.lproof.org/ and sign up.

Then, you will need to comment on Godly Gossip so we know you are joining us. If you want, when we contact each other to say our verses, we can contact you as well.

I think this is a great way to start the New Year and begin the transforming process of our hearts.

And I have to tell you, the Lord moved big and quickly with this, because the minute He laid it on my heart, He laid it on my two best friends heart’s at the same time.

I LOVE it when He works like that.

So sign up anyone and everyone and let’s store God’s Word.

Jesus give us the supernatural ability to study and store Your Word. Give us clarity and guidance and begin the amazing process of shaping and molding our hearts to be more like Yours. Amen
